In uncertain times it's easy to give in to fear and panic or bury our heads in the sand and pretend the world around us isn't changing. While it can be difficult not to give in to such feelings this pandemic is also giving many of us an opportunity.
We keep seeing posts of people painting their windows in bright colours. Spiritual and whimsical messages to themselves and their neighbours that we'll get through this. Colourful brick walls, driveways, sidewalks. All over the world, there is an effort being made by individuals to create the vibrancy that we know will return to us in time so long as we don't let go of it.
This isn't the first pandemic that the human race has faced. We've been here before, we'll be here again. So what can you do? Be kind, be grateful, and don't give up your creativity. The world needs art now just as much as it ever did. Explore and encourage. You get to listen to your creative voice today, don't silence it and don't silence the creativity of those around you.

*Side note: acrylic paint can stain clothing and it took a bit of scrubbing to get the boys cleaned up. I wouldn't recommend letting you kids paint themselves too often unless you have proper body paint for them to do it with.*
